Resident Advisor - *SOLD OUT*
Another year has flown by and we can't believe our 4th birthday is just
around the corner! We've had some amazing parties over the last 12
months at Nation of Shopkeepers, Cocoon in the Park and of course the
Mint Club. Huge thanks to all those involved: the fantastic guest DJs,
staff and brilliant crowd! We hope you can all join us to celebrate the
last 4 years and look forward to an exciting year ahead with big plans
in the pipeline and some extra special lineups still to come. Our 4th
birthday features one of our strongest lineups to date, including rare
performances from Pantha Du Prince and Robag Wruhme, with exciting house
talent Levon Vincent rounding things up.

_Pantha Du Prince (Live)
Drawing on influences from Detroit, minimal, acid and psychedelica,
Hendrik Weber aka Pantha Du Prince's startlingly original "sonic house"
has transcended the rules, successfully mashing a heady mixture of
house, indie, shoegaze and drones to create a club sound that, on paper,
really shouldn't work; but it does. As a result Weber is one of the
most applauded live acts of the moment and counts Sven Väth and Efdemin
as staunch supporters with Väth inviting him to perform at Cocoon in
both Frankfurt and Ibiza, as well as featuring one of his tracks on the
Cocoon V/A J compilation. A notoriously mysterious character, Weber
chooses his club appearances carefully and we are honoured to have him
play at our 4th birthday. Don't miss a rare opportunity to see a genuine
musical talent in action at Mint Club.
_Robag Wruhme
A prolific, beloved member of the German house and techno community,
Jena-based DJ and producer Gabor Schablitzki has clocked up an
impressive discography since the late '90s with eclectic outings fusing
house, wobbling melodies, rolling techno and even hip hop on Musik
Krause, Vakant, Freude Am Tanzen, Kompakt and his latest long player
"Thora Vukk" on DJ Koze's esteemed Pampa imprint. The album won glowing
reviews and placed him firmly back on the map following the break up of
Schablitski's project, the Wighnomy Brothers, with Soren Bodner. System
was lucky enough to host one of the last performances of the Wighnomy
Brothers back in May 2009 and we are delighted to welcome back one of
our favourite DJs of the last few years.
_Levon Vincent
Manhattan based DJ and producer Levon Vincent is a self professed
"lifelong student of music"; after over a decade of making music his
skills were recently recognised on a wider scale thanks to sublime
productions such as "Double Jointed Sex Freak" and the Panoramabar
anthem "Late Night Jam". His own Novel Sound imprint is a go-to label
for many an underground DJ including Steve Bug, Ben Klock and Radio
Slave. Recently Levon has been touring the world's greatest clubs
including Robert Johnson, Fuse and Studio Martin, as well as headlining
festivals such as Nuits Sonores, showcasing his raw, emotive take on
house music. When Levon is not travelling and DJing, he apparently
"spends his time drinking scotch and playing piano": sounds like our
kind of guy.
