Before it all kicks off in style at the 3rd Birthday proper later this
month, Filth are treating you to an intimate and very special party
with New York house sensations the Martinez Brothers. The young pair
are being flown in especially as thanks to all our friends and family
who have supported us over the last three years – without you we are
nothing!
Chris and Steve Martinez are two of the youngest
people in house music, but they’ve already scored one genuine club hit
('My Rendition'), wowed crowds at the Winter Music Conference and
earned rave reviews for their energetic DJ sets as far afield as France.
Their
'My Rendition' track a couple of years ago was released on Dennis
Ferrer’s Objektivity label as the house legend was impressed with the
duo. Their sounds are a deft mix of tech and deep house and are sure to
make use of the Mint club’s fine example of a Funktion One sound system.
Also
playing are new 2010 residents Luke Pompey & Jamie Fisher who’ll
lay down slices of tech house you can really shape shift to.
So,
for a cosy party with close Filth friends under the future disco LED
panel which hangs above the dance floor, make sure you get yourselves
down.
