After a triumphant year bringing the world’s best DJs to the intimate confines of The Mint Club, it’s time for the System Summer Closing Party. To help us draw the curtain on the summer, System has invited no other than Ovum boss and techno pioneer Josh Wink, along with label associate Perc, to head up a party that is guaranteed to leave its mark on Leeds. 2010 marks the 15th anniversary of Josh Wink’s accomplished Ovum imprint, and to celebrate, he’s embarking on a world tour along with selected artists from the roster. As well as being a platform for the release of Josh’s own productions, Ovum has put out work from artists as diverse and highly respected as Loco Dice, Steve Bug and Marc Romboy to name but a few. And with the current line-up boasting the likes of Shlomi Aber, Nic Fanciulli, Davide Squillace, Luca Bacchetti and, of course, Perc, Ovum retains its place at the forefront of the electronic music scene.
