After a few years hosting big events at Leeds Uni we feel the time is
right to do something a bit different. We’ve really enjoyed hosting the
big events, but we now feel the need to focus more on intimate ones a
well. The handful of Wax:On events we held at Mint Club before summer
with Brodinski, Fake Blood and Aeroplane were amazing, so we want to
continue with these parties on a more regular basis as they were so much
fun.
Therefore on 24th September we will kick off the weekly Fridays at Mint
Club with People Get Real, Eskimo Twins and Justin Robertson. Some of
the best nights we’ve had are when the residents get to play longer sets
or even all night so the new weekly will be based mainly around them;
People Get Real, Eskimo Twins, The Sonic Emporium, along with other
local guests like Death on the Balcony and PBR Streetgang.
We’ll also be booking occasional headline guests, over the coming months we’ve got some great artists lined up including;
